The Inn was originally constructed in 1915 by an English cotton merchant as a wedding gift for his bride. It maintains many of the original ornate details from that time period. In the 1980's and 1990's it served as the home of the Innkeepers, Mary and Howard Baskin, and their four young children. Today the Innkeepers strive to make it a welcoming home for their guests.
