After twenty-seven years in the Hotel business Suzanne and I (Rick) discovered the fun and joy of the Monterey peninsula. Originally from New Orleans, our family moved to California in 2005 and we have lived on the Peninsula since 2009. The Jabberwock is five short blocks above John Steinbeck's Cannery Row. Visit Doc Rickett's Lab, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, or perhaps a wine tasting room. Old Fisherman's Wharf is just around the corner and there are over 25 restaurants in the area. The Monterey/Pacific Grove recreation trail, offers a wonderful walking, jogging, and biking path with stirring views of the bay and its marine life. Perhaps you will discover the tide pools of Asilomar beach or kayak at Lover's Point. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells while pondering the history and lives lived here. Watch for a whale…there she blows! Or explore further to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, Point Lobos and Big Sur.
