Sugar Creek Vacation Retreat offers Vacation Retreat Rooms, perfect for couples or singles, or the busy Exec that just needs a quick, relaxing weekend- getaway to decompress and get back to 100%. We are minutes from Beaver Lake in GORGEOUS NW Arkansas. The property is a treed four acre wood with native stone rock bluffs, trails, a spring and a creek. We have multiple outdoors spaces including a firepit, a garden area, A garden Bench and picnic table, a place to BBQ, and a covered pavilion with occasional seating. Our Rustic Modern vacation rooms sleep 2 (4 if necessary). Each featuring a luxurious plush Euro-top Queen size, 13" thick, memory foam mattress and 600 thread-count combed, Egyptian cotton sheets that guarantee anyone a great night. Each room features a sofa or loveseat, side tables and comfortable upholstered chairs. retreat room is totally unplugged (except for the hair dryer). No TV's and, we even chose to forego the alarm clock, specifically so you can just lose yourself for a second in time: RELAX, BREATHE, and take in the wonders of our place on this planet. However, if you find you must conduct business, free WiFi is available.

We are a family owned and operated Retreat. After retiring from an Academic career with Pitt State and the University of Arkansas, due to health issues, I purchased this property and began renovation of the entire property. We are ecologically minded and try to minimize waste and recycle and use recycled products on the property as appropriate. We have a housekeeper that lives on the property, and my children are opening a Coffee shop & Cafe on the property in the coming months. We also have spent a considerable amount of time and energy landscaping and creating pleasing outdoor spaces. We all enjoy the outdoors, fishing and kayaking. We all enjoy very much interacting with our guests and discussing their plans and previous travels.

We are minutes from Beaver Lake in GORGEOUS NW Arkansas. The property is a treed four acre wood with native stone rock bluffs, trails, a spring and a creek. The Ventris boat launch is 4 minutes away for a nice day of kayaking and swimming on the lake, or you can go to Lost Bridge North or South Army-corp of Engineers parks for sightseeing or a nice picnic in about 5 minutes. Additionally we are not far from many other popular attractions including War Eagle and The Hobbs Recreation Area, 20 minutes to Eureka Springs, only 15 minutes from Rogers or downtown Bentonville with the amazing Crystal Bridges Art Museum. Pea Ridge National Park, a civil war landmark, is only 2.5 miles away; an amazing park with tour, trails, biking and recreation activities.
