The apartment is a 5 minute walk through the historic district to the downtown square where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and live music. Art walk is the first Friday of each month from 6pm-9pm in the square. The event does pause for the summer months. The downtown farmers market is held each Saturday from 9am-2pm We are located 8 miles from the new World Equestrian Center and 6 miles from Silver Springs State Park. Waking to downtown is about a quarter of a mile. The historic district is filled with amazing architecture to gaze at as you stroll down the street. A car is recommended for longer distances. There is a limited bus system in the city as well.
