When you're not swimming or fishing off the private dock, head to the open ocean for fishing adventures! Bring along your own boat - easily launched at the Hernando County Boat Ramp, 0.9 miles away - or rent one from Blue Pelican Marina, which also offers bait. If neither option seems appealing, book a trip with one of the nearby charters like Little Bit a Tail Fishing Charters. For more adventure, take the boat to Scallop Grounds for relaxation on the flats - located just outside the cove of the main channel. If you're a diver, make sure to check out the Bendickson Reef Tanks - an artificial reef system located just off of Hernando Beach's shoreline. Perfect your tan on the shores of Clearwater Beach, located just 48 miles south of the property. Closer to home, Rogers Park, Pine Island, Weeki Wachee Springs State Park offers a magical experience with live mermaids. Treat yourself to someone else's 'home-cooking' at one of the restaurants in in the area! ZigZag Scallop, R Beach, and The Cove all offer delicious fare just minutes away
