The HideAway has a large fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area inside as well as an outside patio. There is a bonus room with a large Smart TV, pool table, library of books and CDs. There is a DVD player if you bring your favorite movies. The surroundings are filled with nature...; birds, butterflies, squirrels, deer, flowers, and trees... space to relax, find peaceful moments, and fun times to share. We like to enjoy the outdoors, whether with snow sports, hiking, fishing, biking, or walking to restaurants. We moved to Bend, Oregon in 2012 because of the 4 seasons and the mountains, rivers, and Alpine Lakes. We often go Kayaking, fishing, and in the winter Doug loves to ski and I enjoy snowshoeing. We both love hiking to mountain tops or along the many miles of rivers. There is so much to do! We chose each of our properties for the open space they provide for relaxing, and for the quiet neighborhoods that are near enough to the stores, restaurants, and other activities. We enjoy meeting people and sharing our homes with our guests.

The HideAway is in a quiet neighborhood at the foot of Awbrey Butte, and has a playground and park 4 houses away and a park around the corner. It is just up the hill from Newport and Galveston Avenues for shops and restaurants. Downtown is only a mile away.
