We have been renting this cabin since 2010 with many guests returning over and over. A credit card will be required for a damage deposit and pet fee payment if bringing a pet. This secluded log cabin nestled on 2 wooded acres, off a private road, is located just minutes from the towns of West Jefferson and Boone in the North Carolina mountains. This cozy, two bedroom, two bath cabin which sleeps up to four people, comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful and memorable vacation. The cabin is fully furnished, linens included, all kitchenware provided and offers lots of activities. Relax on the covered wrap-around porch, surf the internet, watch a DVD from the DVD library or catch your favorite streaming TV shows from the Roku devices on each LCD TV. Lounge in the outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tub, read a book in the hammock (seasonal), enjoy a friendly game of horseshoes or make s'mores and tell stories around the fire pit.

We manage the cabin completely on our own which means you & the cabin get our personal attention. Many rentals are managed through management companies which have so many properties they can't give the time & attention that's deserved to each one. No one is going to take pride in and give extra care to a property the way the owner will. That's why we handle everything: advertising, bookings, maintenance & follow-up. We don't want to trust someone else to make our cabin great, we want to know it is firsthand. We check on the property regularly between guests to make sure everything is in good working order. We ask for feedback after every stay and take your suggestions seriously. We have implemented many guest recommendations over the years which is why our guests return over and over again. You can go fishing, canoeing or tubing on the New River or visit Mt. Jefferson State Park. Other attractions include Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweestie Railroad, Mast General Store in Valle Cruis, Linville Caverns, VA Creeper Trail and much more! Wil-deer-ness cabin is also conveniently located near the Tennessee-Virginia border.
