Antonia Albano, is currently co-owner/co-operator with her husband Barney Brown, of this vacation cabin and event facility on 250 acres in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
She and Barney moved to Virginia after several decades in Sausalito/Sebastopol CA and 6 yrs sailing and living aboard their deep sea sailing vessel.
They love water environments, mountains, the natural environment, travel, good restaurants and fun coffee shops. Antonia is totally intrigued with sacred geometry.
She designs geometric sculptures and facilitates workshops in sacred geometry throughout the country. Barney is fully immersed in his love of painting and gardening. She and Barney have both had and continue to have a colorful, incredible career and life paths. Life is more than good!!

You won't be disappointed choosing to stay here! In addition to absolutely gorgeous views and magical landscape are overnight accommodations to suit a variety of travelers. Authentic log cabins dating from c.1775 to early 1900's have been reconstructed with modern amenities and add-ons i.e. decks, bedrooms, kitchens etc. These cabins and the rolling farmland have privacy and stunning views of 2 mountain ranges on 250 acres of hay fields and forest above the Maury and South Rivers. A/C and heat. Truly magical!
In addition there are 2 guest suites within The Heartstone Lodge, a remodeled and re-purposed dairy barn, plus 3 modern comfortable studios adjacent to Lodge that are perfect for individuals attending retreats, couples, groups and family gatherings in addition to weddings and receptions. A beautiful 65 ft grapevine covered pergola with fish pond fountain, meditation garden, fire-pit and lots of nooks with cozy spaces to relax.

It is beautiful here! Short walks bring amazing vistas of mountains, hay fields, livestock and on a clear night more stars than you have probably seen in a very long time. In the summertime the fireflies can be amazing!
