The apartment maintains its original layout and the building fits within the historic buildings around it.
My wife and I enjoy cooking healthy food and swimming/biking/running along the coast of Montevideo. I am a certified tour guide and would be happy to offer you a complimentary walk down to the Port Market during your stay. If you rent the whole apartment, we will pop in periodically only to clean and water the plants. By renting a room you may see more of us on site.
We are in the middle of the Old City known for its rich and varied architecture. The building is located between pedestrian streets, up the block from the renowned gastronomic center "el Mercado del Puerto". There's a cafe/bakery right in front of our building. The Gaucho Museum and national history museums are found within four blocks.
