Coco Happy Farm is a small, family-run eco farmstay tucked away in a peaceful village of the Mekong Delta. Surrounded by coconut trees, rice paddies, and village trails, it’s an ideal place for guests who want to disconnect from busy city life and reconnect with nature, culture, and community.
What makes our place unique is its simplicity and authenticity. We’re not a luxury resort, but a working farm where you can see how local people live, grow food, and raise animals — with a warm welcome into our family life.
Guests are invited to enjoy unlimited fresh coconuts and seasonal fruits straight from the garden. One free cycling tour is included during your stay, where we’ll guide you through hidden paths, local markets, and quiet temples.
We have three types of accommodation: simple double rooms inside the family house, a wooden duplex cabin for a more private stay, and a larger two-bedroom house for families or long-term guests.
Meals are available from our sister’s nearby home restaurant, featuring home-cooked local dishes made with ingredients from our farm or neighbors.
Whether you’re watching fireflies by the river, feeding the goats in the garden, or just swinging in a hammock with a fresh coconut, we hope to make you feel like part of our extended family here in the Mekong.
We speak English and Vietnamese and are always happy to help with planning your journey, arranging transport, or recommending off-the-beaten-path experiences.
My name is Thuan, and I grew up right here in this village in the Mekong Delta. After spending years in the city, I returned to my roots to create Coco Happy Farm — a place where travelers can experience authentic farm life, surrounded by nature and warm-hearted people.
What I love most about hosting is sharing the quiet beauty of this area with guests from all over the world. Whether it’s taking you on a bike ride through coconut trails, showing you how to pick fruits from the garden, or simply sitting by the river at sunset, I enjoy making people feel at home in the countryside.
I speak English and Vietnamese, and I’m always happy to help you plan your trip, connect with local culture, or just enjoy some peaceful days away from the noise.
My family helps out too — my sister cooks delicious home meals just down the road, and you might see my nieces and nephews feeding the goats or chasing butterflies around the farm.
Hosting has brought me meaningful connections, friendships, and joy — and I hope your time here becomes a beautiful memory to take home with you.
Coco Happy Farm is located in a quiet farming village in Giồng Trôm, one of the least-touristy areas of the Mekong Delta. Guests often say the peaceful surroundings and genuine local life are what they love most about staying here.
The neighbourhood is full of coconut gardens, small canals, and friendly people. You can watch farmers tending their fields, kids riding bicycles to school, and boats gently passing by on the river. It's the kind of place where time slows down and nature takes the lead.
There’s a small pagoda nearby that’s perfect for a peaceful visit, as well as a rustic local market where you can see how people trade fruits, herbs, and handmade goods in the early morning.
If you’re feeling adventurous, we offer cycling routes through the countryside, tuk-tuk rides, and boat tours that take you along small canals where you might spot fireflies at dusk or visit a local coconut candy workshop.
The nearest town is Ben Tre, known for its coconuts and traditional handicrafts. From there, it’s a scenic countryside ride to reach our village. We’re also happy to help arrange transfers or give local tips.
While there are no big tourist attractions or nightlife here, that’s exactly what makes this neighbourhood special. It’s calm, green, and welcoming — a chance to experience the real Mekong Delta, away from the crowds.
