WHAT TO DO? ACTIVITIES? 1. Use our bicycles for free here to explore the countryside. I can send you different routes i.e. heading to the local markets, zigzagging through green villages, visiting local houses, ... 2. Try out our full-day tour from our small tour company Mekong Zig Zag This is a very fun, authentic, relaxing, and intimate tour. Although it's a full-day trip, it is still very relaxing and you'll have time to have a delicious lunch at a nice local house and then nap during midday. 3. Have a sailboat tour (a must-do in Ben Tre) which will depart right at my homestay. The tour takes around 1.5hr - 2hr based on the weather and water level. It's a comfortable, private, quiet boat trip with comfy beanbags, snacks and drinks included. There will be you and a local boat driver and maybe a few other guests. 4. Come to my friend's Ba Danh homestay (25min bicycle ride or 15min ride by tuk-tuk) to: Visit a small coconut candies factory where she and I work together. You could come to try tasting different candies flavors and try the fresh ingredients. Rent self-kayaks for unlimited time Have a 1-hour wooden row boat trip (row by local man) in the small canal. Dine in: the food at Ba Danh homestay is also very special and worth trying, so I would say having at least 1 meal here is a must. 5. Have a very intimate and non-professional cooking class with Mrs. Hai right at my homestay. So in the early morning (6.30-7.00), you can hop on the scooters to the market with her, help her buy fresh ingredients, and then travel back to the homestay and cook together for your lunch. 6. Besides, one of the very nice things to do is... do nothing at my homestay We have hammocks, beanbags, for you to lazy lying in. We have soft drinks, local draft beers and wine for you to drink and chill at any time you want.
