Mộc Home Sapa – A Home of Simplicity and Warmth
Mộc Home Sapa is not just a homestay, it is the heart of Siểu’s story. Nestled in the peaceful Muong Hoa valley, surrounded by terraced rice fields and towering mountains, the house itself is a traditional wooden stilt house—simple yet full of charm. Its rustic design, open spaces, and natural materials bring you close to nature, while still offering the comfort you need.
Every corner of Mộc Home is arranged with care: a small pool in the garden for reading, meditating, or simply listening to the mountain breeze; cozy rooms with wooden interiors that carry the warmth of a true home; a balcony where you can sip tea at sunrise or watch the stars at night. The atmosphere is not about luxury, but about peace, connection, and authenticity.
What makes Mộc Home truly special is not only the setting, but the way guests are welcomed. Siểu, together with her family and local friends, brings life to the house. From preparing homemade meals with fresh local ingredients to gathering everyone around a family dinner, she makes sure each guest feels less like a traveler passing through and more like a friend coming home.
Here, you are invited to share in Siểu’s daily life—drinking tea in the misty mornings, walking through the rice fields, helping in the kitchen, or simply sitting together and exchanging stories. This is what turns a stay at Mộc Home into something unforgettable: the feeling of being genuinely welcomed, of belonging, and of carrying a piece of Sapa’s peace within you.
My name is Siểu, a Dao woman from Sapa. I lost my mother when I was very young, and life soon brought me many hardships. At just 16, I became a wife and a mother, setting aside my own education and dreams. For a long time, I believed my world would remain forever small and limited…
But then, I found Mộc Home Sapa.
Like a little miracle, Mộc opened the door to a new world—where I could learn foreign languages, practice hospitality, manage a home, and most importantly, learn to believe in myself. From a shy, timid girl, I have grown into a woman who can stand strong, make her own decisions, and open my arms wide to welcome friends from all over the world with love and sincerity.
At Mộc Home, my days begin simply. I drink tea in the quiet morning mist, watching the rice terraces glow in the first sunlight. I tend the garden, feed our dogs, and prepare breakfast with fresh ingredients from the village. Guests often join me in the kitchen—together we cook, laugh, and exchange stories.
During the day, I welcome travelers, show them around our wooden stilt house, or sit with them in the garden, listening to birdsong and the sound of the stream. Sometimes we practice yoga by the pool, sometimes we simply sit in silence, breathing in the peace of the mountains.
In the evening, I prepare our FAMILY DINNER—a warm table filled with traditional dishes, laughter, and conversation. For me, it is the most beautiful moment of the day, when strangers become friends, and everyone feels at home.
Mộc Home is not just a homestay. It is a place where I rediscovered myself, where I turned hardship into strength, and where I now share love, simplicity, and peace with others.
When you come here, you are not just booking a room. You are stepping into my story, sharing my daily life, and becoming part of a journey filled with resilience, love, and positive energy.
I – Siểu – will be here, waiting to welcome you with open arms and a gentle smile.
Mộc Home Sapa is located in the peaceful Muong Hoa Valley, 12 km from Sapa Center. The 30-minute taxi ride is scenic but can be steep toward the end. We recommend booking a taxi through us to drop you just 15 meters from the homestay, as local taxis may drop you off up to 1 km away, leaving you with a tiring walk.
