Live music on weekends Plettenberg Bay is an absolute gem on South Africa’s Garden Route, offering a beautiful mix of beaches, wildlife, adventure, and natural beauty. Robberg Nature Reserve: A must-visit! This rugged peninsula offers dramatic coastal scenery, hiking trails, seal colonies, and even the occasional sighting of great white sharks or dolphins below. Tsitsikamma National Park: About 45 minutes away, but worth it! Known for the suspension bridge, kayaking, and forest zip lining. Local Wine Farms & Markets: Visit boutique wine estates like Newstead Lund Family Vineyards or Bramon Wine Estate — sip bubbly with views of vineyards and mountains. Don’t miss the Harkerville Market for local crafts, food, and music (weekends). Ocean Safaris & Whale Watching: From June to November, catch humpback and southern right whales in the bay.
