We acquired 14 Oyster Crescent, Umhlanga Rocks in November 2023. It was run down and sad. We reopened as Oyster Tide B&B in early 2024 after extensive renovations & upgrades. The owner is Janine Archer a semi retired attorney. Oyster Tide is her third B&B in Umhlanga Rocks. Our logo depicts Aphrodite sailing in an oyster shell, she symbolises strength, beauty & femininity. For us, she symbolizes female empowerment and compliments our existing portfolio of properties beautifully.

Newly refurbished and renovated, Oyster Tide B&B and Self-catering has it all: a relaxed Umhlanga vibe with beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean rooms, yummy breakfasts, gorgeous pool area, a safe, professional environment and of course enough jojo tanks and solar panels with battery to beat water and load shedding. The property consists of a combination of B&B style, en suite rooms and self-catering units.

In the centre of everything, Oyster Tide is well situated within close proximity to Umhlanga & Glenashley and their beaches, as well as Cornubia, Sibiya Casino, Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Oceans Mall & the exclusive La Lucia Mall. A mere 15 minutes from King Shaka International airport and the Durban CBD. Oyster Tide is a stone throw from Umhlanga Ridge Office Park & the La Lucia Business districts, Umhlanga Hospital & Gateway Hospital. A 5 minute drive will take you to the cosmopolitan Umhlanga Village with its numerous restaurants, bars, boutiques and strip malls. You will quickly find out why the locals say "Umhlanga ROCKS!"
