The ah! Guest House is situated in the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, 6 km from Cape Columbine Lighthouse. It features air-conditioned rooms with and free WiFi in the rooms and public areas.
Most of the rooms at the guest house are loft rooms, located upstairs. All rooms are soundproofed and artistically decorated. Each features a bathroom with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Every room comes with a small seating area, an electric kettle and a mini-fridge.
Chef’s Table Dinners as prepared by the in-house chef are available maximum 2-3 times per week and served at the communal dinner table. Bookings need to be made in advance.
During winter, you can relax in front of a fireplace and enjoy a book from the small library. There is also a sandy beach nearby and beach towels are provided by the property. A mobile spa service can also be enjoyed in the comfort of your room at a surcharge.
The ah! Guest House is located 30 km from the West Coast National Park. Free parking is provided on site.

ah! guest house is owner run by husband and wife team Arnold & Annalise. Arnold was an actor for a short period of time before his true calling, cooking, lured him into the food- and cheffing industry some 27+ years ago. He hails from the Swartland area whereas Annalise, a well known Afrikaans actress, is originally from Gauteng. After living in Johannesburg for 17 years we decided on the slow life in the picturesque Paternoster.

Good food, good wine and good conversation around the communal kitchen table is an essential part of the ah! guest house experience. Quirky, fun, artistic and lived in...just like being at home without all the responsibility. A set 3 -course breakfast is served daily at 09h00. Our Chef's Table Dinner is mainly available on Tuesday & Friday to in-house guests only. Let us take care of you.
