Both are on the property of Danville Forest Guest House, allowing stays for a maximum of 10 guests throughout the properties' two, rentable units. It is an ideal accommodation choice for a family getaway, or even business visitors who prefer a more relaxing stay whilst attending to their responsibilities in Durban or Umhlanga. We encourage families or business guests to book with us, as we do enforce strict noise regulations throughout the property. Checkers, Woolworths & many restaurants and pubs are a stones throw away in the Mackeurtan Avenue. Danville is the most central location to everything you may need! Each unit has its own space. There is safe & secure off-road parking for up to two cars per unit. Electric fencing surrounds the boundary wall of the property to ensure peace of mind & entrance is through a motorized gate, opening into the parking area for both units. The accommodation is self-catering. Both units have a full kitchen including microwave, stove, oven, kettle, toaster etc. Cutlery & crockery are provided. You are welcome to bring your own food, toiletries and cleaning goods that you may need. Although we do not offer a washer & dryer in the units, you may chat to us before check-in to arrange for a cleaner & laundry facilities at an extra charge. Ashton & her husband Bo live in a cottage on the property and are always ready to assist our guests. We love meeting our guests and hearing what they love about the beautiful city of Durban as well as offering our own recommendations for food, experiences and sights during your stay if you need them. Please note that since we are in a very tranquil and quiet neighborhood, noise levels will be monitored during your stay and no celebrations, loud music or persistently loud guests will be tolerated.

The northern beach facing stretch of land from the Umgeni River to Umhlanga make up the more elite suburbs of Durban with Danville Forest being right in the centre. It is tropical, leafy, seldom cold, and often has lovely salty sea breezes coming off the warm Indian Ocean. There are abundant restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment features. Gateway Theatre of Shopping is less than 10 minutes away. uShaka Marine World is 12kms away. A quick 20min Uber or drive from the main King Shaka International airport is absolutely a pleasure for most of our guests who have flown into the city. The ease of getting around is unparalleled due to the property being just off the main M4 highway, but far enough away that your peace is in no way disturbed by the nearby roadway.
