Bancroft B&B, is a replica of a Georgian House in England, and is in the forested, evergreen hills of Hilton in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. 1000 feet above the city we enjoy at least 5 degrees cooler weather than Pietermaritzburg and are fortunate to enjoy the wonderful climate that our gardens flourish in.
Within easy reach of the city we are a 10 minute drive to most places..2kms from some of the best schools country, Hilton College and St. Annes to name 2, and 6kms from our New Private Hospital in Hilton.Hilton is the Gateway to the Midlands Meander, an hour from the Indian Ocean and King Shaka International Airport and and hour and a half to the magnificent Drakensburg Mountains.
Easily found, we are on the R103, we host folks from around the world as well as many corporate clients and sporting enthusiasts who come to attend the many incredible sporting events Pietermaritzburg has to offer.
We cater for special dietary requirements...vegan, vegetarian, banting etc. Dinners are also available and packed breakfasts can be ordered if you need to make an early start. We look forward to being your hosts
