Rooi-Els is a quaint little town situated 23km's from Gordon's Bay, and 25km's from Kleinmond, the closest towns. The picturesque views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, make it the perfect escape from busy city life. Our local village shop provides your basic amenities, but you will have to travel into Gordon's Bay or Kleinmond for bigger shops. The closest petrol station can be found in Betty's Bay, 11km's from the property. Take a 5 min walk down to Rocky Beach, our local beach, or a 10 min drive to Dappat se Gat for a truly breathtaking beach experience. Here you can explore the surrounding caves, after taking a dip in the refreshingly clear ocean, surrounded by small fish. Stony Point Penguin Colony is only 12km's away, or you could go kayaking along the Kleinmond Lagoon and have a look out for the local wild horses that roam along the waters edge.
