Spectacular raised chalet style house with 180 degree views of beach, sea and horizon in Scarborough, Cape Town. A simple modern space, well equipped, super light and both soulfull and functional. For winter days contemporary heaters will keep you warm. 3 double bedrooms all en-suite with shower. Main bedroom with sweeping sea views, secondary bedrooms with single beds that convert into king size bed, if preferred. Bedrooms are equipped with Egyptian cotton linen. Well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The WiFi can be used to access Netflix on the TV screen. House has a burglar alarm and is monitored by a security company. There is a short steep drive up to the house and parking is free and available on the property. The drive up to the house is steep, yet short to the top. There is an alternative route, for drivers not comfortable with driving up a steep road, which can be shown to you as requested.

I am a Capetonian, who loves the outdoors and loves being surrounded by the natural beauty of the Cape and all the enjoyable and numerous outdoor activities on our doorstep - like hiking, walking along the beach, cycling, sailing, body surfing, watching the sun rise and set. As a host,I enjoy meeting guests, both local and from all over the world and informing them about the area.

Scarborough is a tranquil conservation village nestled against the mountains. The house is 15 minutes walking distance from a pristine long white sandy beach surrounded by rugged coastline. From Broad Horizon you can see the Table Mountain National Park, a 15-minute drive away, where antelope, ostrich, falcons and even wild zebras are spotted. A few minutes walk away from the house there are some excellent small restaurants - The Village Hub which has delicious fresh produce, including meat, a gourmet deli and a fabulous bakery. Upstairs is The Hub, a popular laid back restaurant serving excellent food. Nearby The Whole Earth Cafe and the Camel Rock which has live bands and potjies (food cooked in a pot over an open fire) on Friday night and popular braais on Sunday nights. Quite often local artists are performing over weekends. Long Beach Mall and Harbour Bay Mall are excellent shopping malls 20 minutes away. Parties and excessive noise-disturbance is discouraged. In all directions there are good surf, windsurf and kite surf spots for intermediate levels and above. If you want a more relaxed time, stroll along the beach / hike / swim in tidal pools in the nature reserve.
