Spacious, modern family home with spectacular mountain views. 5 minutes drive to Kirstenbosch Gardens and 10 minutes drive north to Cape Town City centre or south to Muizenberg beach and the peninsula wine farms. Outdoor entertainment area with covered patio, gas and wood barbecues, astroturf lawn and heated swimming pool. There are 4 formal bedrooms with bedding for 8 guests and then there is a second lounge with couches and roll-out bedding which could be used for another two guests.
I'm a 43 year old dad of two boys and husband to Paula. My passions are travelling, having visited 80 countries, wildlife and bird watching and photography. I love being active and out and about. I play waterpolo, tennis, squash, trail run on the mountains around Cape Town and enjoy a sunrise surf down at Muizenberg or Kommetjie. Sabina the housekeeper lives on the property in a separate cottage and she will welcome you on your arrival and assist you with any questions about the house during your stay. Sabina is also available to clean, wash clothes, iron and prepare basic meals during your stay. This is an extra service charged at R50 per hour and must be agreed and paid on arrival directly to Sabina in cash.
Upper Claremont is a quiet, leafy suburb, adjacent to Bishopscourt and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and just 2 minutes drives to the shopping malls in Claremont. It is centrally located in the Southern suburbs half way between Cape Town city centre and the beaches at Muizenburg.
