Welcome to Cycads on Sea Guest House, a long-standing favorite in St. Francis Bay! Cycads enjoys one of the best views in St. Francis from our famous Sundowner Deck. Enjoy a cocktail with 180 degree views that stretch from the Harbor and chokka boat fleet, to Bruce’s Beauties, to Main Beach and the Village. The kids can have a dip in the splash pool while you fire up the braai. Take a stroll along the gardens that surround the entire property (while that fire gets going perfectly) and notice all the native plants, succulents and little details. Inside the house, our guests enjoy a tasteful environment that blends modern and beachy with homey and comfortable. Admire the traditional open beam thatched roof that soars above throughout the house. Feel free to relax in the bar (with more ocean views) or by the fire in the main lounge. There are so many places around the house and grounds to find a quiet corner with your loved one, or to meet guests from all over the world. We recommend trying both during your stay! In your en-suite room you will find a smart TV, bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities and all but the Honeymoon Suite, have a further 2-bed cozy loft for those in the family who can climb a ladder. Each room has its own personality and our repeat guests always have a favorite. In the morning, join us in our sunny Breakfast Room and expect to be delighted by an authentic South African Breakfast. Guests from all over the world mingle over a sumptuous meal, exchanging their experiences of the “night before”, or their travel tips from their tour through South Africa. During the day, St Francis Bay boasts excellent surfing, snorkeling and swimming on unspoiled sandy beaches, where guests will definitely find a few shelly treasures! Two 18 hole golf courses; one a “True links”, remains an exciting challenge to the golf fanatic. Everything else is in walking distance! Our Guest House is also ideally situated for outward-bound day-excursion trips.
