Dar el Hout has been a labour of love in the making. It is a space where I feel at home and comfortable but also where I am surrounded by a hint of luxury. The setting is unique and the views of the ocean and the beach are sights that change from sunrise to balmy sunset evenings. The apartment is spacious and my favourite room is the "Sun Room" where I can relax on the Day Bed, read my favourite book and gaze dreamily at the mountain views. I love to sit at the little French table on the front terrace with a glass of bubbles and take in the sounds of the waves.
I have travelled to a few places and love to welcome people from different parts of the world. Each one of you is unique and I have only ever encountered happy and engaging guests. It is important for me that you feel as if you are "home" and I love to do all the little "extra" things which will make your stay special.
Hout Bay is the most incredible and beautiful town. I have lived here for a long time and I have seen the changes but I never want to leave. We are now one of the most integrated places in Cape Town and I like that. The beauty that we live with every day is unsurpassed, with majestic mountains on our doorstep and nature trails minutes away, a magnificent bay dotted with little yachts and sea craft and a wonderful and vibrant community.
