Dune Ridge is slightly set back from the main town but when driving down the dirt track you reach this little oasis. The staff greet you with a proper warm South African " hello" and welcome you in to what they consider their " home " We pride ourselves on the service we offer. Many of the staff come from very rural beginnings and it is through time and effort, dedication and a want to learn that they are where they are. The Dune Ridge team take pride in what they do and guests can see that and feel their warmth. South Africa produces incredible fare and we try and let our guests get as much exposure to these incredible ingredients during their time with us. Everything is hand made and great care is taken in the preparation thereof. As a team we work together and try and make every single person that walks through our doors take a deep breath when they walk in because they feel they are home and on the day of departure.. they must already be planning their return.

I have enjoyed every single minute of being the owner of this property. The people we meet, the laughs that come from the lounge in the evening, the little patter of feet on the wooden floors early in the morning when we have families staying here, the good morning greets from my staff - its a very satidfying feeling. My afternoons are spent either at home catching up on a few things or out on walks with my dogs ( Ridgeback, Jack Russell, Spaniel and Labrador) Absolutely love my Pilates classes and if the weather is really good heading down to the Wild Side in Cape St Francis for a long walk in the reserve

St Francis and Cape St Francis are both beautiful little towns. We live in such a safe little area and everyone is so conscious about the environment. There is so much to do from various hikes, we offer a Frog Safari at the property and also beautiful walks through the nature reserve. Boat cruises, there is the Penguin rehabilitation center - beaches that stretch for miles! The list is endless!
