The owners, Diane and Ant, travel extensively and love to share their beautiful farm with local and international visitors. Their warm and welcoming team live on site and are always available to help.

Located beside the glorious Rondevlei lake and with a view of the magnificent Outeniqua mountains, Equleni Farm is a scenic haven true to its name “peace by the water”. The 21-hectare property showcases the unique natural beauty of the Garden Route with uninterrupted views painted by the fynbos, lake, mountains and sky. Equleni is a natural sanctuary of abundant indigenous flora and incredible birdlife, with walking trails and direct access to the nature reserve. Our beautiful shared pool area overlooks the natural landscape and views of the mountains and neighbouring lake, the Rondevlei. The farm is powered by solar and all our water is naturally sourced and purified from the lake. All our cottages are self-catering with a choice of gas or wood barbecue, all are pet-friendly. 2 of our units have enclosed gardens, others are open to he farm. Each unit has uncapped free WiFi and smart TVs. and all the comforts of home to make for a relaxing getaway. Some of our cottages have their own private hot tubs with spectacular mountain and lake views, while our Standard Studio overlooks a quaint garden. Spend quality time with loved ones and reconnect with yourself. Marvel at picturesque African sunsets and gaze up at the Milky Way on a clear night. Listen to the birds and slow down to nature’s peaceful pace. Explore the fynbos trails of the neighbouring Cape Dune Molerat Trail and pause in the stillness of the nearby bird hide.

Situated between George and Knysna near the slow town of Sedgefield, the farm is close to stunning beaches, forests, local markets, hikes, restaurants and outdoor activities. The farm borders the Wilderness National Park - giving Equleni the magical feeling of a remote getaway while still being connected to everything the Garden Route has to offer. We are close to the Wild Oats Farmers Market, Swartvlei Beach, and other well-known local attractions.
