This light-filled, open-plan home oozes the invitation to unwind in a white, contemporary space with eclectic objects collected from years of exploratory travels. The simple and beautifully created interiors and garden have been so carefully planned it is surely to become one of Franschhoek's most sought-after places to stay. It has an enviable position in the village on the edge of the vineyards, yet only a few minutes walk from bars, restaurants and galleries on the historic main street.
Jo has been in Franschhoek since 2002 and was raised a few kilometres away over the mountains. The years in between were spent in the UK, Australia, France, Croatia and New York fuelling his desires for adventure, finishing off with a solo sailing trip down the Irrawaddy River, in Burma, and on through the Andaman Sea. Jo moved down to Franschhoek, settling in arguably the most scenically beautiful wine valley in the world. This is one of eight properties under the ‘Explorers Club’ umbrella. Communication prior to your stay will be per email. We are around to assist, but not based at the property. Check in's are done in person.
Beautiful mountains and vineyards surround our beautiful town. Walk through the main road and browse through the many quaint shops or explore the different wineries and restaurants.
