Property information

The word Kwakunje means "As it was". This is an incredibly unique little guest lodge / micro-resort that was built as a historically accurate representation of a Zulu village or homestead on the outside but boasts modern and comfortable rooms on the inside. The property is located just on the edge of town and upon arrival, you will feel as though you have been transported back to the time of warriors and legends. The property currently offers 7 rooms, each with their own bathroom and also loads of outside space to relax and enjoy the many views and moments between sunsets. We also have 24hr onsite staff and breakfast is an optional extra which can be ordered upon arrival.

Kwakunje Guest Lodge is located next to Talana Museum, with a great display of the history of the area. there is also a restaurant on the museum premises, if you feel like a light lunch, but during day-time. other restaurants are available in town.
