We have tried to create a home-away-from-home feeling in our guesthouse. Our big swimming pool with lapa is very popular to linger and relax during the summer months.

Douglas is a town situated near the confluence of the Orange and Vaal Rivers in the Northern Cape province of South Africa and situated 100 km from Kimberley and 271 km from Bloemfontein. Douglas is divided in three sections named Bongani, Breipaal and Douglas.
The town is in a very green area and lies on the banks of the Vaal River.
The town has the largest irrigation farms in South Africa and produces corn, wheat, peanuts, cotton, potatoes and pecan nuts.
There are also cattle, sheep and game farms in the Douglas area.
The GWK Landzicht wine cellar is also an attraction in the area. The estate produces a variety of desert and table wines.
The town itself is a green patchwork of dramatic contrast – space for the solitary and activity for the energetic. There are a lot of activities in and around town to stimulate spirit, body and soul.
