Franschhoek has been in our blood for many years. In fact Ants grandparents grew up and lived in the valley close to a hundred years ago. Ants mom used to come out on the train for summer holidays. We first drove into the village 27 years ago when there was not a lot happening. In fact there was one restaurant and no cash machine. How things have changed and we have seen that change over the years. Today the valley is a wonderful place to live and we try and get out to the apartment when we can and it is not booked up. We love the fact that we can walk downstairs and we are in the heart of the bustling village yet when we are in the apartment its our own world.

Le Grenier has secure undercover parking. It is very centrally located within walking distance to the best restaurants that the village has to offer. The Wine Experience Tram tour is 30 metres away. This tour offers a hop on hop off winelands experience. Loads of restaurants all within walking distance. Park your car for the stay and you can walk to all the places in the village. If you feel like a coffee you can pop down to Melissa's and bring the coffee back up while sitting in the jacuzzi. Suntan on the deck or stroll around the village without the stress of parking or driving.
