We live on a small farm height above false bay. We have sweeping views of the mountains and the sea. We have a two hectare garden full of flowers. We have full time staff in the house and the garden Monday to Friday. You must have a car to stay here. The location is not UBER friendly. I have 3 dogs who are ever present, so please you must be comfortable with dogs around you. My pool is large, with both a diving board and a slide. It is uncovered, so children under 16 are not able to stay here.
I am an American who has been living in Africa for the last 25 years. I have one son who is studying in the USA.
We are located exactly half way between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, in the middle of he Cape Winelands. From the house it will take you 15 minutes to reach either town and 30 minutes to reach the airport. Cape Town is a 45 minute drive. There are many many wine farms with excellent restaurants within a 15 minute drive and more if you venture into Franshook, 30 minutes away. The nearest beach, Strand beach is 15 minutes away, it is a very long beach wonderful for walking and swimming.
