Step into another world when you stay at the Oudewerf Eco House. Overlooking the Vaal river and mountainous slopes formed by the oldest meteorite impact in the world. Nestled in the foothills of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, this renovated farmhouse is perfect for fly fishing, unwinding and romantic getaways. Please note that we recommend a high clearance vehicle when you visit us.
A love for traveling has always been close to my heart and hosting great guests is part of the dream. Getting back to our roots is a big part of self-sustainability and we strive to be totally eco friendly and create an oasis for our gusts where they can feel at home. I am available on my phone if you need anything during your stay.
We are located lakeside, nestled between the mountains of the Vredefort Dome. We recommend a high clearing vehicle because of the long gravel road.
