The imposing sandstone cliffs of the Heads form the gateway to the sea from the Knysna lagoon. In the 1800's Knysna was a thriving port with many cargo ships braving the treacherous entry at the Head for safe harbour entry in the lagoon. The lagoon today is still one of South Africa's most socially active stretches of water, with a wide variety of activities on its shores and waters.

The Knysna Quays Waterfront and Knysna Mall offer a selection of shops and restaurants which will delight any retail addict. Knysna offers adrenaline fulled adventures, Awe inspiring elephants in the forest, Surfing at Buffalo Bay. We have an extrensive local knowledge and can arrange any activities, tours and transfers.
