Newly renovated mountainside cottage with 180 degree views of Atlantic Ocean and Cape Marine Reserve. A place to unwind and contemplate. Situated in the serene conservation village of Scarborough, well known for its commitment to sound environmental practices. Perfect for nature lovers, close to the world famous surfing beach of Kommetjie, a short drive to Simonstown and the swimming beaches and villages of False Bay via the scenic Red Hill pass and last stop en route to Cape Point.

Marcel, the owner is an actor, theatre and film maker by profession. Dalene who hosts the property is a long time resident of Scarborough and will be able to answer most of your questions – or point you in the right direction.

In keeping with it’s idyllic village status, Scarborough has three local eateries offering different food and drink options- The Hub, Foragers Restaurant and Bakery and Camel Rock Restaurant, bar and beer garden. Camel Rock convenience store is situated next door. Large supermarkets and a range of retail stores are available at the Harbour Bay Shopping Centre in Simonstown 11 Km away and Long Beach Mall and in Noordhoek 14 Km from Scarborough. Camel Rock Restaurant not only does great fish braais (barbeques) on Sunday evenings, it is also the place to discover live local music on weekends. A drop off laundry service is available at the Kommetjie Laundry next to the Shell garage in Kirsten Avenue. Own transport is most reliable. The area is also serviced by Uber.
