Your Host is Graham Chennells ably assisted by his wife Nattaya. Graham, a born and bred Zululander, has an intimate knowledge of the Zulu people and has been involved in community projects for many years. He has been Mayor of Eshowe, and is a Rotarian (President), a businessman, paratrooper, former singles Duzi Canoe Race winner, rugby player, Brewmaster, farmer and retired sportsman.
Graham has traveled extensively over the last 12 years backpacking to places like Cuba, India, China, Ethiopia, Turkey Burma/Mynamar, Borneo, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela and recently boated 4000 kms up the Amazon. He Would love to hear your stories. He is also interested in meditation & awareness as these are topics that are going to feature more and more in our future lives.
He is actively involved in community projects such as ECAG classroom project, Cunina Zulu Trust orphanage, Yebo Initaven for handicapped children and many more. He has the time to show you what’s going on in and around Eshowe.

We have an organic garden and numerous fruit trees...Mangoes, Litchi's, avocado's, tamarillo's, banana's, guava's, and a vegetable garden.
We have a beautiful and spacious garden with all sorts of indigenous plants and trees. Sit back on the large veranda with a fantastic view of the rolling hills of Zululand. There is large lounge area/TV room, free Wi-Fi access, patio braai area.
We are in a forest area fairly close to town and all Tourist attractions, and have been actively involved in the tourist industry and operate Zululand Eco-Adventures which offer birding, cultural & agricultural tours. Trekking across country and forests can also be organised.
We enjoy people and live in a very happy environment. Meals and takeaway lunches are available with reasonable notice.

Local attractions include. Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk, Fort Nongqayi Museum Village ( Vukani Museum, Norwegian Missionary Museum, Fort Nongqayi ), Butterfly Dome. From here you are also very close to Battlefield sights of Battle of Gingindlovu, Battle of Inyesane, Siege of Eshowe and further a field, Rorkes Drift, Isandlwane, Ulundi . Follow the history of Zulu Kings, John Dunn and other explorers. Mandawe Cross, Nandi's Grave, Cowards Bush & the site of King Shaka's kwaa Bulawayo are very close by as is the home/Palace of former president Jacob Zuma.
