The Bay House is a spectacular 6-bedroom luxury villa on the beach front in the beautiful village of Kommetjie outside of Cape Town. With two kitchens, two dining rooms and two lounges there is more than enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The sparkling blue 10m pool will ensure guests have lots of fun in the summer. A pedestrian gate leads directly onto the beach in front of the property and this is where guests can enjoy leisurely walks in the mornings or evenings. The house is beautifully furnished with a range of art works. The 2nd kitchen (Chef's kitchen) is ideal for those wanting to have dinner prepared and served for them or perhaps a catered function. We use the services of a highly recommended local chef, so please do ask about this service.

I am very passionate about people and ensuring everyone is happy and having a good time. I love being outdoors and especially enjoy the beach during summer. Winter is the perfect time for mountain walks and we have so many hiking trails in our area. The staff at The Bay House - Linah (housekeeping) and David (garden/pool) are very passionate about what they do and take great pride in ensuring The Bay House is ready for your arrival.

Kommetjie is the ideal family holiday destination. A small surfing village we have some local surfing legends who hail from here (Matt Bromley, Michael February). If you are interested in surf lessons, this can be arranged for you. In Kommetjie you will see young and old walking the streets, enjoying the peace and quiet of village life. Dogs bounding around on the beaches enjoying their free time and sunset walks is what makes this village so enjoyable. Enjoy a picnic on the beach at sunset while you watch the surfers catching their last few waves. Coffee shops, restaurants and much more await the holiday visitors. Not far from Kommetjie is the historic and interesting village of Simonstown where guests can visit the Penguins at Boulders Beach or rent a kayak for a great experience.
