Situated on Clarens Golf Estate, The Clarens Country House is set in a spacious rose-filled garden alongside a small vineyard. It offers country-style accommodation, free WiFi access and barbecue facilities. The apartments and studio all come with a lounge area and satellite TV. They also have a kitchen or kitchenette. All units are serviced daily. Guests can relax in the garden or enjoy a round of golf at the Clarens Golf Course. Free private parking is provided on site. The Clarens Country House is located just 15 km from Golden Gate Highlands National Park and 20 km from the Lesotho border. Bethlehem is a 35-minute drive from the property.

Pete and Toni are passionate about Clarens. In short - we love living here. We are both published authors and have our own publishing company. Pete is also a well-known artist and exhibits many of his original works at The Clarens Country House, while Toni spends every spare moment in the garden.

The Clarens Country House is nestled in a wooded corner of the secure Clarens Golf and Estate, where it started out as a sheepshed on the original farm. This century-old stone sheepshed, with wrap-around mountain views, has been completely remodeled as a luxury bed & breakfast and/or self-catering guest house. With half-metre thick sandstone walls, The Clarens Country House is a cool retreat in summer and a cosy refuge from Clarens’s invigorating winters.
