Vervet Guesthouse is situated in Palm Beach which is a tranquil seaside village located on the Hibiscus Coast just 12 kilometers from Port Edward in KwaZulu-Natal.
The area is famous for its quiet, clean beaches and natural environment. Surrounded by indigenous forests our guests can enjoy the privacy of our home whilst viewing the stillness of the ocean which helps one to unwind and reconnect with nature.
On the property, the sounds of Vervet monkeys swinging on the palm trees, the sight of the shy Blue Duiker and abundant bird life reminds us of the importance of fostering a dynamic and sustainable state where humans and wildlife adapt to live in co-existence.
The warm Indian Ocean water is ideal for those who wish to engage in watersports, go fishing, swimming or just have a sun tan on the beach.
Guests may visit the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve which is known for its colony of Cape vultures.
The Mpenjati Nature Reserve extends 500 meters into the ocean and invites guests to enjoy forest walks amongst other activities. Guests can visit the local Saturday craft market near the beach and purchase handmade souvenirs in support of our local community and business owners.
