ZenCapeTown Forest Retreat is just that, a little gem of a Holiday Cabin, nestled in a forested garden on the slopes of the mountains in Hout Bay. This newly renovated steel and wood interior has all the modern amenities whilst staying true to an authentic cabin-in-the-woods feel complete with natural spring pool and wide verandahs for enjoying the out-doors. The Cabin is surrounded by giant palm trees and indigenous Ficus measuring some 30 feet tall. Expect a magical experience!
I love nature, out door activities, sunshine, Lliandudno Beach, Sunsets and our best South African cap Classique which is the same method as Champagne. Favorite book, Brothers Karamazov, Favorite Music, Deep House, Vegetarian Cuisine, Exploring Rivers and Canyons. When I travel in most cases its the place I am staying in that provides the experience I am looking for which is why well thought-out accommodation with a flare of class essential...mountains, rivers, seaside, on the water...Kenton on Sea has been one of my most favorite holidays. As a host I am always hopeful that I will meet a new and wonderful person from a different walk of life and have the opportunity to get a glimpse of their world...however I also like to give guests the privacy to enjoy this wonderful space. We are always available on WhatsApp and will assist with all your queries.
Our neighborhood is elevated on the slopes in Hout Bay and close to nature walks. It is lush with trees and very safe as we have cameras monitoring the roads via cctv. It's about a 10 minute walk down to the beach and local shops. We do advise renting a car as Cape Town public transport and taxi services are not streamlined enough to be cost effective or practical. We recommend hiring a car. There is lots to see in Cape Town and you will enjoy the freedom of going to your destinations at your own leisure.
