The water at the honey house is mineral-rich and safe to drink.
The house is off-grid- solar powered and gas water heating. All waste is recycled.
Explore the property's slashed walking trails through indigenous terminalia, acacia, and combretum woodland, where lucky visitors might spot duiker, bushbuck, and abundant birdlife. There is a small library, that includes books on Zambia and its flora and fauna.
The Honey House offers convenient services including daily housekeeping, and breakfast delivery, and other meals upon request (24 hour notice is needed). Special experiences include romantic sundowners in the bush and bush bbq's under the African sky.

As a dedicated beekeeper, she produces raw honey through ethical practices and is registered snake relocator in Zambia.
Throughout the year, she coordinates various workshops—ask about upcoming sessions on traditional pottery, beekeeping, guided tree-walks and eco-building.
She speaks Swedish and English, and rather poor Kiswahili.
