Just a one night stay this time but will be booking again as we had a very comfortable stay , in a nice big room. The nespresso machine, teapig teas etc were nice little extras. A nice shower gel/shampoo and soap was provided in the bathroom along with fluffy white towels. The nicest pub we have stayed in.

The pub was very busy when we arrived due to it being New Year’s Eve, but the bar staff were very friendly and helped us check in. We were guided to our rooms and instructed about how to use the key to let ourselves in and the rules for staying. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a lot bigger than expected but still cosy. Bathroom facilities were lovely too, will definitely stay here again if we need to.

Fantastic location. Walkable to Baths, Pulteney Bridge, great restaurants. Our room had a roof top deck that was really nice, so we brought dinner back with us one night so we could enjoy it.

Excellent location. Can walk directly from there on to country paths across fields on marked pathways. Excellent food. Friendly helpful staff. Close to Bath. The room was clean and had everything one needed.
