The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the lodge is a charming building. We had dinner and breakfast at the lodge and both were very good!

We had been to cornwall, stopped on our way back to yorkshire. Had sunday lunch in hotel, it was beautiful, as was breakfast.

We had a great sized room and spacious ensuite, both had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and a range of pillows. There was even a little box of treats for us to have with our cuppa in the room. The staff were very friendly, bright, happy and super helpful. Nothing was ever any trouble. We ate in the first night and loved our meals, so continued to do so throughout our stay and found everything really nice. We ordered our breakfast from the menu and it was lovely with a generous serve. Staff were able to give us Aussies tips on questions asked about the town and places to visit and get around. Hope to come back one day soon.

Really nice and big room, all very clean. Charming with a few steps up to the bathroom with enough space. Beautiful building! Enough parking space. Good hot and cold breakfast. Nice staff.
