The room was cozy, clean, and full of character, exactly what you'd hope for in a small, lakeside hotel. What really made it special, though, was the view. Waking up to look out over Lake Lugano, with the mountains framing the water and the quiet little village of Gandria below, was something we won’t forget. The location is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still close to everything. It's just a short drive or boat ride to Lugano, and you're right near the Italian border too, which made day trips really easy. Gandria itself is tiny, charming, and full of atmosphere. Wandering its narrow lanes felt like stepping back in time. We also loved the slower pace and quiet evenings here. It was the kind of place where you can actually hear the lake. Highly recommend if you're after a mix of comfort, scenery, and a real sense of place.

Situé directement sur lac de Lugano dans le centre du joli village de Morcote, l'Albergo Ristorante della Posta dispose d'une situation extraordinaire. Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was fantastic—relaxed, kind, and always helpful. They found me an adapter for electricity I didn't have, gave me the key to the beach even though it was not swimming season (in case I still wanted to go there), a waiter in the restaurant was full of positive energy, and I enjoyed listening to his Italian. The pizza in the restaurant was extraordinarily good and it was so nice to eat it on the hotel terrace (with the view of the lake). The hotel's location was perfect, it is in the very center of Morcote, stairs for climbing to the church and views of Morcote were very near, bus station is immediately in front of the hotel, and the main pier for boats is also there. If you are coming from Lugano and Melide (probably), I recommend to choose boat for a part of the travel- it is great to be on Lugano Lake. In Morcote, don't miss Parco Scherrer- it is not too big, but it is more museum than the park, and peace and beauty there were one of the top moments of my whole Switzerland travel.

L’établissement Ristorante Stazione se situe à Tesserete, à 8,3 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Gare de Lugano. Il possède un jardin, une terrasse, un restaurant et un parking privé gratuit. Bon petit déjeuner. Le personnel demande souvent s'il y a une demande particulière ou un autre choix de produits. Possible de prendre un deuxième café.
