When the heating in one of the rooms didn’t work, they immediately brought us a portable radiator. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary coffee, even though breakfast was not included in our booking. Despite our late arrival, the team kindly greeted us and accompanied us to our rooms to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms themselves are newly renovated, very clean, and beautifully designed. Highly recommend !

Hotel Sonnenberg is easily reachable by the historic funicular, climbing up from Kriens Dorf within 7 minutes, from April to November. The staff were incredibly accommodating and couldn't be more helpful! A nice touch with a personalised welcome letter too! The location is unbelievably beautiful. Truly incredible views from anywhere at the hotel. Especially from our room balcony! (They even provided binoculars!)

All rooms at the Ochsen inn come with a private bathroom, parquet flooring and elegant, modern furniture. The manager and all the staff were amazingly responsive to anything we needed. We asked for an extra fan because it was during a heat wave and they sent one to our room before we even arrived back from our activities for the day. When our 3-year-old left his stuffed animal, they found it and mailed it back to us. Breakfast was tailored to our group size, tasty, and ready at a time we prearranged - and all for a very affordable price - especially in Switzerland. We stayed in the apartment, which had a well-equipped kitchen, new IKEA furniture, and plenty of space for our large group.
