The Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona is located within the Tayrona National Natural Park 33 km from Santa Marta, offers a terrace and mountain views with a direct encounter with the nature. Upon arrival, Ana welcomed us kindly and upgraded our room to a superior one because it was available. She did the effort of speaking clearly and slowly so I could follow with my basic Spanish skills. The hotel is superb. A lovely infrastructure built into the hills and into nature. You feel relaxed at all time when staying there. As it is inside the National Park, you can enjoy the park for multiple days with just one entry. They have a private shuttle service that brings you to the Cañaveral trailhead. We always had dinner in the hotel restaurant as there aren't any options inside the park anyway. The food was very delicious which we usually don't expect from restaurants without competition. Everything was perfect, 10/10 I definitely recommend this place.

Offering views of the Sierra, Mundo Nuevo ECO LODGE (2.2 km and 400 meters uphill Minca) is set in an organic farm with a vegetarian restaurant (one menu) with mainly dishes with fruits and vegetable... This place is a gem! From Minca, it takes about 20 min by 4*4 to get there. It's a rough ride but totally worth it! We arrived early in the morning and we got to explore the area and enjoy the facilities. They have a great activities to offer or you can just sit and relax in the pool. The surroundings are astonishing, Sierra Nevada at its best! There is an indigenous village 5min from there too. The staff is amazing, speeks perfect English, witch is rare in the area and can accommodate you with everything, from dinner plans to activities, call a motor bike for you etc.. The rooms are not too large but it's really ok because we wanted to stay outside for as long as possible. The sunset over the mountains is amazing! I cannot recommend enough Mundo Nuevo and definitely will come back someday!

Really beautiful small Kogui huts inside Tayrona park. Great Spot if you want to explore Tayrona for more than a day-trip. Approx. 50 mins from the main entrance if you Walk all the way and carry larger backpacks (25 min main road + 25 min dirt road and stairs!!) The houses themselves are pretty small but have everything you need for a few nights. The team is really nice, can tell you something about the park and offer dinner with vegetarian options. The huts only have cold water for showers and the main House was one of the few points with cell reception for me, which is really helpful! Approx 50 mins from the hotel to the nearest beach (la piscinita) with the busses and to short walks!

First of all: This place does exist! I wasn't super confident until we arrived since I could only find evidence of it on Booking, but it is real! Absolutely beautiful location. Feels very special and Naydu and Ivan made sure we had everything we needed to really enjoy our time there. The food is GREAT (eat every meal at Mirador and NOT down by the beach where it is bad, more expensive, and most likely gave me food poisoning). I sadly came down with food poisoning before I could eat anything at the restaurant (I was already vomiting before I ate or drank anything here). I sadly had to sit and watch my boyfriend eat his amazing-looking food while I just drank lots of water and juice. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but there is a place to rent them at the beach as well. Being able to walk down to the beach and snorkel through the reefs was amazing. Beautiful water with great visibility. When I felt better the second night we went out on a sunset boat ride and snorkel with Ivan and Naydu and it was a great way to really take in the location. I think this place attracts people with a sense of adventure and we joined together for dinner one night with the other people staying (either in tents or the other room) and had a wonderful time learning about other cultures and their travel adventures.

Clean, well-equipped and perfectly located to visit Tayrona National Park. The patio (with hammock!) looks out over the beautiful garden and river. We saw many hummingbirds as we were having our breakfast. Above all: Jorge is a really wonderful host!

Cristina is such a wonderful soul and amazing host, she made us feel welcome from the start, a huge highlight being her home cooked meals and exceptional guest service. The cabin is cozy, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a secluded getaway.

Casa D'mer Taganga in Taganga offers family rooms with private bathrooms, garden views, and modern amenities. Some rooms include air-conditioning, a work desk, and a TV. The staff was very friendly, we also very much enjoyed the hammocks outside, there's a nice breeze. This side of Taganga is pretty quiet at night. The pool was a plus.
