It is a special place, with special atmosphere, completely quaiet, near the old medieval church with very interesting history. Very friedly and practical arrangement of the room. Absolutely quaiet.

We loved the location and the gorgeous buildings in the old parts of Møgeltunder where the kro is located.. Great area for walks, especially when the weather is on your side. The Schackenborg castle is next door. Our room was located upstairs in a qute house next to the main building. The room was petite but still spacious, considering the time when the house was built. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, and it had a bathtub. The breakfast was extraordinary with a good spread from local producers as well as other Danish foods. Lovely porcelain and ambience. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. Especially the staff at the time for our arrival when the reception was closed. They had to leave their duties at the restaurant to give us the things missing in our room as it was only set up for one person. A minor error, but they really got out of their ways to set it straight. The garden was lovely as lovely as well.

Our room, #22 was large but without ambiance and right off the highway with traffic noise continually . Had A/C so we just kept the windows closed to decrease the noise . Our room was at the top is one of the narrowest and steepest staircases that we have experienced in a European Hotel . Only way out of the room was down the narrow stairs in an emergency or a fire . Really not a good idea or plan . Breakfast was good with several hot and cold choices .

L’aide du personnel quand notre taxi n’est pas arrivé pour nous conduire à la gare. Il nous a trouvé une solution pour qu’on puisse prendre notre train.

Nice, family run hotel with restaurant. The rooms are not really modern but have a nice Scandinavian touch and everything is clean. Good location in the harbour, so close to ferries and also a small shopping centre with bicycle rental is only 50 metres away. The beach is not too far, about 15 minutes by bicycle.
