It's located very close to Santillana del Mar (just a 5 min drive) but away enough to avoid all the tourists. It's a very simple hotel but clean and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was very nice as well!

I was given a lovely warm welcome after my long drive. The property is full of character and my room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. There is free off street parking. Being in a rural setting, it was very quiet and I had a terrific sleep.

Posada La Fabula is located in Viveda, 22 km from Santander and 4 km from Santillana del Mar. Free private parking is available on site. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host Maria—oh my goodness, what an amazing person! She was kind, happy, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation itself was impeccable from top to bottom, we had a lovely and restful night. To top it off, the breakfast was awesome !! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. Highly recommended

We have stayed here three or four times. The place is ideal for the ferry about half an hours direct run. There is always a warm welcome. It is set in the most beautiful Cantabrian village. The place is great for rides out to numerous locations including beaches and more historic places. We will be back.

The views were breathtaking, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house was beautiful, well maintained and sparkling clean. Our host, Yolanda was warm and attentive, breakfast was delicious with homemade cakes traditional to the region. Everything was perfect, we would come back with pleasure!
