Nago
Guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a kettle. Featuring a private bathroom with a bath and slippers, certain rooms at Shirahama Hotel also offer a mountain view. At the accommodation, each room is equipped with air conditioning and a TV. Room was much larger than I anticipated! I enjoyed the tatami in the room. The bathroom was large and the bath was tiled and slanted so you can easily lay comfortably. It was pink which I thought was fab. There are also 2 resident cats who are very friendly that require pets when you walk past

We liked the massive glass wall in our room directly facing the sea. It was very relaxing to stare at the sea. The location is also near the attractions in Nakijin, so it was very convenient for us. We liked how complete the essentials in the room. Adapters are available for our gadgets. They also have complete kitchen utensils, so we are able to cook our meals. There is also a washer and dryer readily available to use.
We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast in the dining hall very much, such an amazing view! We really enjoyed our time staying there. It is also close by some most amazing beach in the area.
It felt so homely!! Its truly a farm indeed. The home interior was super rustic, but I loved it. I heard jiji build this himself too! And all the food bachan cooked were lovely and humble ☺️ i love how they called me “onee-san” while i was there too. Jiji is also the funniest grandpa ive ever met 😂 even though he spoke little english and i spoke little japanese, we were still able to have good conversations with a little patience 🥰 i would love to come back and visit everyone!!
The facilities are so nice. Indoor pool was heated and outdoor pool is super nice. They also have kids pool. I really liked the bath house/Spa in this hotel. The food for breakfast and dinner are superb. 🫶🏼
The Halekulani is perfect in every way! From the moment we arrived until the time we left we were taken care of by the excellent staff. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the service is top notch and the breakfast buffet in the morning has a wonderful variety and is delicious. We asked for a couple recommendations for dinner off the property and they were spot on, especially the Okinawan dinner! We cannot say enough good things about this special property other than a must stay of you are visiting.
The communal dinner was a super creative way to get the people together
Perfect hotel , the nicest staff we spoke to in Japan Took care of everything we needed Hotel was super beautiful, rooms were big great clean and new The store was open most of the time Food was delicious in the lobby lounge and breakfast and dinner were great We also got vouchers for meals due to the fact that we took taxi from the airport so keep your receipt they might compensate you
The property was wonderful! Clean, well designed, and comfortable. We had tools to cook simple meals. We were able to hike and explore Yanbaru forest. We loved the bathtubs. I thought sleeping on the tatami mats was very comfortable. My kids loved staying at the “jungle house.” The owner is so nice and very helpful. He helped us get a dinner reservation and brought us very yummy cream puffs. Thank you Hiro!!!
Even though the hotel has that old smell to it, nothing can beat the location. Right on the beach, the hotel itself provides a lot of water activities and its recommended to prebook during busy seasons like Golden week. Their breakfast and lunch buffet were excellent. Lots of buffet options for dinner as well, but less ala carte options. Has good indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel itself is quite huge. They have lots of shops within and play areas for kids, gaming zone etc.
The hotel is just breathtaking beautiful with its big inner yards and private beach. There are many restaurants and konbinis around. Also the hotel offers lots of activities but they come at an extra price. Aside from that the stuff was amazingly friendly and I loved how much you could discover within the hotel.
Value for money Huge space with great hilltop view and breeze Well insulated Extensive utensils provided Friendly innkeeper
