You do have to go through upper bedroom to go up on the roof, but to be honest we didn't use that area very often as it was just too hot! Good wifi and the TV has Netflix etc if you have accounts. Good location; not so touristy more genuine Osaka! Close to huge shopping street so no problems with food etc.

So if you're coming in from either the airport or from Shinkansen, it's easy to get to. Surrounding area is also really nice with a lot of high rise towers and shopping areas. Hanshin Tigers store is also nearby if you are a big fan of baseball. Staff also let me check in early which was a nice touch. I think it was probably because it was a less busy day? But I wouldn't expect it at all times.
