The inn offers luggage storage for guests travelling to Machu Picchu. The staff were great, especially Leo, the breakfast was great, homemade granola, fruit and yoghurt, omelette. Comfy beds, good shower. Fire lighting in reception on cold, rainy days, beautiful garden and hammocks to relax in on sunny days. Quiet location but convenient to everything! Leo gave us a heater and extra blankets in case we would be cold. He also recommended Apu Veronica, a great restaurant! Staff helped us to bring luggage to main square on arrival and departure.

The property is just half-a-block from Del Sol Avenue and 2 blocks from Cusco’s picturesque historic district. Fantastic place to stay in Cusco, in an excellent location. The team here are so kind, super friendly and are happy to help with any questions. The room and general areas were spotlessly clean. There was a little bit of a damp smell in the bathroom but fine, once you kept the door closed. Breakfast was served in a room upstairs with an individual setting left ready for you and was very nice. Overall, a fantastic stay!

I can not say the same thing about our fancy hotel in Aquas Calientes. The rooms at El Triunfo are impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. One of the standout features is the stunning views from the rooms, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of Cusco's charming rooftops and historical sites. The location of the hostel is perfect – right in the heart of Cusco. It's within walking distance to the main attractions. Despite its modest rating, El Triunfo Hostel offers services and amenities that rival those of higher-rated hotels. The friendly and attentive staff, the spotless rooms, and the unbeatable location make it a top choice for anyone visiting Cusco. I can't recommend it enough and am puzzled as to why it only has two stars. It truly is a hidden gem!
