Great aquapark! I think I ‘ve never had had so much fun during a hotel stay. Food was various, I especially loved the little filo rolls with cheese and greens. Also liked the desserts, they were not too sweet.

The location is excellent - just a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is elegant, clean, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and lovely views. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated the warm welcome and smooth check-in process. The variety of food at the buffet was impressive, with something for everyone, and everything was fresh and delicious. We also loved the daytime activities - big water slides (with a separate pool for them), archery, billiards, table tennis, and more. There’s no time to be bored here! Whether you’re into games, water fun, or just sunbathing, everyone can find something to enjoy. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Golden Sands. Thank you, Melia Grand Hermitage, for making our stay so special!

Our summer holiday at the Riviera Beach Hotel in Varna: We had a wonderful family holiday with a lot of quality time for ourselves and our children. We had a spacious room with a splendid view over the sea, the swimming pools and the sea front garden of the hotel. The rooms were very properly cleaned and maintained every day. The food was always very delicious and freshly prepared. The staff is well educated and with a customer-friendly behaviour. As very well experienced customer in Bulgaria we may make the statement that Riviera Beach is the most family friendly resort at the black sea coast.

I stayed at Hotel Astera in Golden Sands, and my experience was incredibly pleasant! The hotel is located in a fantastic spot – just a few steps from the beach, making it an ideal destination for a seaside vacation. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with balconies offering breathtaking sea views. The staff was always polite and eager to assist with any requests. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the food. The restaurant offers a rich selection of both international dishes and traditional Bulgarian specialties. Every day was different, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The hotel also boasts numerous amenities, including a spa, which is a real treat after a day at the beach, as well as a pool with a bar that adds an extra touch of luxury and relaxation. The evening entertainment was fun and suitable for all ages. Overall, Hotel Astera is an excellent choice for anyone seeking comfort, relaxation, and top-notch service. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Golden Sands!

We have had the most fantastic 12 days at Hotel Elena. We were actually a bit skeptical as we had read a number of bad reviews, but these have in no way been something we could nod our heads in recognition of. We booked 1.5 weeks before arrival, as our other accommodation option fell through and we were therefore left with flights without a hotel. We have only been met with kindness, hospitality and so much warmth. The staff are nice, the cleaning is fine and the food is definitely nice for the price. We were very nervous about whether 12 days would be too much, but both children cried when we went home, so we are seriously considering coming back next year. Special thanks to the lovely animation team, who make a huge difference. In general, we are very impressed with the Bulgarian people, they are nice, helpful and in no way unpleasant in shops, as you can experience in other countries. All in all, a good experience.
