Staying at Astoria Playa Hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations, it was simply fantastic. Let me give some details: First,the food: breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing: huge variety of choice, even if you are vegetarian/vegan. Quality was generally fantastic. There were always a lot of seafood, veggies, sides, desserts, fresh fruits, cheese (chocolate fondu) and a great selection of tiny prepared dishes, also there was a typical mallorquin part. Their astoria egg in a bum is just the best breakfast choice :) Big selection of coffee, tea and hot chocolate, all kinds of milks.. Staff was very kind, attentive and smiling: special thanks goes to Joan Miguel for caring for us so nicely, always having a kind word to us, giving us tips about where to go, where to eat and advising us to book a car through the hotel: I've never experienced such a smooth renting process: the hotel staff booked the car for us and next day the company delivered the car to the hotel, the staff waiting for us in the lobby with the contract (we even did a slight change in the rental period that they kindly solved immediately). Thanks also goes to (the other) Miguel for his great humour and help and kudos to the kitchen staff and waiters for being so nice,polite, quick and kind. Rooms was bacis but nice, with nice balcony, bed comfortable, storage was sufficient for us also. Hotel provided towels for the pool and beach. Beach is 5 minutes and one of the most beautiful in Europe, what you can dream of: white sandy beach with crystal clear water, shells and a stunning mountain view. Hotel was in a holiday area, full of tiny "supermarkets", hotels, restaurants, car and bike rentals. It is around 40min walk to Alcudia (but you can bike or take a bus also). Hotel is easily reachable from Palma by a direct bus that has a stop some minutes from the hotel. Let us also mention this hotel is a biker-friendly one with lots of biking groups as guests.

We got a nice room with a view of the pool and away from the road. The cleanliness of the room was also rated 10/10. There is an opportunity to get a €15 credit for drinks in exchange for cleaning the room. Excellent and high-quality food for breakfast and dinner. Gluten-free food options are available. The staff is friendly, although they preferred speaking German rather than English. The beach 'Playa de Muro' is 5 minutes away from the hotel.

The hotel impressed with its atmosphere, the perfect place to relax. The food was delicious, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. This was the most beautiful stay in hotel that we ever had. Everything was wonderful. The hotel is in central location in the center of old town Alcudia, yet it is quiet. A peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Room was nicely furnished, bed was comfortable,the shower was spacious. We had room with a terrace, we saw the church tower from it, i recommend this room. Water, coffee, tea are avaible at the hotel at any time you want. It’s self service so you can get your coffee whenever you want. The hotel has two buildings right next to each other and each has a hot tub. Both have a unique atmosphere. The hotel offers breakfast,it was very tasty from quality ingredients. Keep in mind this is a boutique hotel,no mass hotel breakfast. Breakfast is a treat here in this beautiful dining room. Staff was very kind and helpful. They gave us all the information we needed, they arranged a boat trip for us,they accommondated us 3 hours before check in.

Everything about the villa was perfect. Spotlessly clean, extremely well-equipped, with very comfy sofas and beds. The interior was traditional yet stylish with a quiet private outside space, a lovely jacuzzi, and even an outside kitchen and dining annex. The host was exceptionally attentive throughout our stay. With great communication, advice, and guidance if ever needed. The location was great, just over 10 minutes walk from Alcudia's beautiful old town which is very traditional and steeped in history. There were plenty of varied places to eat, drink and the gorgeous selection of shops was a delight. We visited the local market twice which was huge (Tuesdays & Sundays). A 3-minute walk from the villa also takes you to a delightful beach where you'll find a good local bar/eaterie called 'Red Rum'. Perfect for late arrivals if you're looking for a quick bite to eat before retiring or simply a quiet lunch & drink looking out over the bay. If you are happy to travel around 20 mins by car Port Pollenca & Pollenca are well worth a visit. We had an amazing holiday and hope to return soon! 😎

    The property has been fully modernised ,every room has a tv aircon and electric blackout blinds . The kitchen has an induction hob fitted oven and grill double fridge and double freezer. The outside area is partially covered with a bbq area sun loungers and even a trampoline and kids playhouse . The pool isn’t heated but it’s still warm the water . The on suite bathroom is hi tech with a rain shower built in the roof .

    Nice garden area with sunloungers, great location (2min walk to beach and bus stops, and 15min walk to historic old town) free access to spa (sauna, pool and ice bath), impressive selection of tasty food as we were half-board (breakfast and evening meal) including a wide variety of lots of dishes and evening variations to prevent bordom (even had sushi two nights), tai chi each morning at 10.15am (Patrick, great instructor), best stormy mojitos (thanks Maria). We've stayed here previously and would again.

    Great food! Room was big and always clean with a jacuzzi bath! Excellent service, all staff went above and beyond and always served with a smile! Buffet food had a great selection every evening! Pool area was fantastic, DJ music, drinks and always sun beds available! Small details thought of! Surrounding area left a little to be desired but the beach, port, Old Town and Pollenca were easily accessible as we rented a car! Would definitely stay again!
